Weather and wet proof
Emirane is a high pressure laminate which will resist all weathers and temperature variations. It is non-corrodable and will withstand the most demanding atmospheric conditions.
Vandal resistant
Emirane high pressure laminate is extremely strong and will resist direct physical attack. Graffiti aerosol spray paint and felt tip pen can be easily removed using 'Paint and Graffiti remover spray' from Rocol Ltd, Leeds. Surface temperatures up to 180°C will not affect the laminate.
Easy to maintain
Emirane high pressure laminate is extremely easy to maintain using warm water and detergent, without the need for harsh abrasives. Bird droppings, mud, etc are easily washed away. Cigarette burns will not damage the surface. Vermin and insects, mildew or fungus will not attack the surface. No polishing or other regular maintenance is required.
Cost effective
Emirane can be extremely cost effective - especially where multiples of designs are required. Also save on the need to provide a framework and the need for regular maintenance and replacement of less durable materials.
Sizes
Emirane Signs can be made any size. One panel has a maximum dimension of 3050mm x 1220mm (10' x 4') but by using multiple panels, all matched horizontally and vertically, any size design can be created.
Tough but easy to work
Emirane high pressure laminate resists impact and physical shock from stone attacks, kicking and hammering, is scratch resistant, and will not crack under normal use. Also where the material has to be trimmed or drilled, Emirane is easily worked using power tools with carbide tips.
Materials
Emirane Signs can be supplied as laminate 0.8mm to 1.5mm thick, for use in vertical or horizontal applications. Laminate can be bonded onto chipboard or alternatively - use a self supporting COMPACT laminate up to 25mm thick for a frameless design. Signs can also be specified with smooth postformed edges.
